I’m excited to announce a few updates to the overall structure of YNF that I believe will make it a better organization & community. I’ll elaborate more in this week’s upcoming podcast, but let’s briefly explain the 3 “C’s” that will be YNF’s focus for 2024:
- CONTENT: This means there will be more empowering, encouraging, & educational content on a consistent basis. With so much noise going on in the world, YNF seeks to be a beacon of hope & light for those struggling with mental health & distress.
- COMMUNITY: It’s time to build a real & safe community of YNF survivors, even if it’s small. Whether 5 people benefit from the content & resources or 500, YNF will strive to be a safe space for survivors.
- CHANGE: YNF needs to continue to evolve & make difficult decisions to serve the community better, & this means implementing a few changes that will be explained in the upcoming podcast. One major change is that, unfortunately, giveaways will be on pause for now. Resources will always be available, whether free or for purchase. Anything available for purchase will always be cost-effective – YNF is NOT in the business of overcharging the community it is trying to reach.
The motive behind these goals is to establish an unshakable structure & for myself as the founder of You’re Not Finished as well as the community & organization as a whole. I (more about me here) need to continue to be the best leader as well as provide content & insight of immeasurable value to anyone who listens to the podcast, reads the blogs, and/or engages with any of the content provide.
I’m looking forward to everything 2024 has in store!
If you need additional resources for mental health, addiction, and suicide prevention, head over to the “get help” section. If you want to share your experience or tell your story or journey as someone with a diagnosed mental health or mood disorder in order to connect with & encourage others, & you’re OK with that being shared on the YNF website, shoot an email to stories@yourenotfinished.com or contact me through the site.
