Vital Assistance & Relief Programs
Contact your Congressional member’s office for help with forms or additional assistance. For information, resources, frequently asked questions, and an overview of your rights, please visit LA County Recovers.
If you are a resident, small business owner, or private non-profit organization that has sustained losses and physical damages due to the fire, FEMA and SBA (Small Business Administration) are offering support for you at the Pasadena City College Continuing Education Center (3035 E. Foothill Blvd., Pasadena, CA). Walk-ins are accepted or you can schedule an appointment here.
Request vital and property records free of charge by calling (800) 201-8999 (press option 1, then option 2) or emailing recorder@rrcc.lacounty.gov.
If you need personal protection equipment (PPE), the Pasadena Public Libraries and the Pasadena Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department will provide it for free for those impacted by the Eaton fire at the following locations:

If you are experiencing pressure to sell your property unfairly, contact the Department of Consumer Affairs by filing a complaint online or calling 800-952-5210 to request a complaint form by mail.
If you or someone you know has been impacted by recent wildfires or is facing eviction in Los Angeles, emergency financial assistance is available through the Latino Resource Organization.

Temporary Housing
Pasadena Foursquare Church: PFC is opening their church as a day shelter from 10am-6pm for individuals and families who need a place to go, supplies, WiFi, food, or prayer. It will be open daily for the foreseeable future, with the exception of closing during Sunday service and re-opening at 1pm. Shelter information changes daily, so please visit PFC on Facebook for details.
Blue Roof: Offering free temporary housing to artists who have been displaced or affected by the fires in South LA. This includes a private room, shared communal activities, and access to wi-fi. To apply, visit: Blue Roof Artist Temporary Shelter.
Visit Anaheim: People affected by the wildfires can visit Visit Anaheim’s official website and find special hotel offers and assistance.
Mental Health Support
- SAMHSA Disaster Distress Helpline provides free, 24/7 multilingual crisis counseling at (800) 985-5990.
- The National Child Traumatic Stress Network offers resources to help children and families cope with disasters (full list here).
- Pro Bono Therapy List and Provider Sign-Up (please note, this list has not been vetted, use at your discretion and research accordingly).
- The Boris L. Henson Foundation is partnering with Comic Relief US to offer 5-10 free therapy sessions for residents of Altadena who have been impacted by the Eaton fires. To register and for more information, please call (213) 222-6327 or email info@borislhensonfoundation.org.
- California Parent and Youth Helpline: Call, text, or chat with a live person to get emotional support at (855) 427-2736. Multiple languages available.
- Backline.Care is helping music professionals who have been impacted by the wildfires by providing $500 toward mental health care. Click here to apply.
- The Asian American Christian Collective is hosting a support group to serve as a safe space for church leaders to process the stressors of the fires and the impact on them and their congregations led by licensed marriage and family therapist, Eunhyey Lok. - LA Fire Justice is providing a powerful, healing experience for those impacted by the fires every Monday from 6pm-7pm at 221 E Walnut Street, Suite 100, Pasadena, CA. Each session features trusted voices, from doctors and wellness coaches to community leaders, coming together to help families recognize signs of mental health struggles and discover tools for support. Octavia’s Bookshelf: Serving as a donation drop off and pick up (9am-6pm), the location will be open to receive donations and for distribution. Closed on Mondays. Altadena Teen Girls Fire Recovery: Started by Avery, an 8th grader who attended Elliot Middle School before it was lost in the Eaton Fire, with the intention of restoring normalcy to teen girls and students affected by the fires. The new location will provide:

Hands to Hearts: Those who have been impacted by the fires can sign up to receive a care package filled with essential and comfort items. To sign up, visit LA Wildfire Support — motherz. You can also sign up to join the waitlist to “adopt” a family to give a care package to.
